Advanced Restoration - 5 Day
Course Overview
This course is designed to follow on from an initial two or five day
foundation course.
It is aimed at those who are involved in restoring classic cars and
covers many of the techniques required to
repair existing bodywork.
There is opportunity on this course to bring along your own project
to work on under expert supervision.

Joining Materials
Exploring the various methods of joining panels.
Corrosion problems
How to deal with corroded parts and minimise
the effects of corrosion on materials. |

Analysing corroded and damaged parts. Deciding how much to replace and
where best to position welded joints. Removing rusted area.

Welding
Practicing the various forms of welding used on panels. MIG, TIG, Gas and

Lead Loading
Preparing the surface, applying lead and finishing. |
